Take a look at this topic:

I had the same problem. It hasn't occurred recently with the latest MM versions. Do you use Apples music app?

Problems with conversion
I have the following issue when changing the converter and auto converter rules. When I change the codec, the settings from the previous codec are still present. For example, if MP3 is the active codec and I select OGG, the codec settings from MP3 are shown. If I then select WAV, the settings from ...

Re: Edit similar artists
This is what I do: From the Entire Library / Artists node, select an Artist in the left hand column, press F2 to rename. For example, change "Guns n Roses" to "Guns N' Roses" Now watch the status bar and you may see an indication as the node edit cascades through changing the files Thanks, but not ...

Edit similar artists
Hi. In MM 2024. For a few artists/bands, I sometimes see similar artists/bands displayed. For others, I do not. Can I possibly edit this manually?

Re: Added date iOS wrong
Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using? Sorry, I forgot. 2024.1.0.3107 on WIN 11 Home, iOS 18.3.1. The error was also present under MM 5 & older iOS versions. It just didn't bother me much until now. However, with the Marvis Player, I can use the date in smart playlists https://i ...

Added date iOS wrong
Hi. I somehow noticed that the added date in iOS is strange. It shows dates like 1985 and similar. Can this be fixed?

Re: Monkey or iPhone issue?
After conducting several tests, it appears that either MediaMonkey or the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB is experiencing difficulties handling a sync exceeding 30,000 songs. I've now reset my iPhone's library multiple times. When populated with approximately 30,000 AAC encoded songs (around 450GB), some ...

Force external cover
Is there a way to force the sync, or in general, the use of external covers? My entire database has embedded covers with a 500-pixel resolution. A leftover from the time when Mediamonkey couldn't change the resolution. Additionally, all albums/songs still have external covers (Cover.jpg) with a 1200 ...

Re: Can't find *NSYNC in search
You may have changed the Search Mode . No, I haven't changed anything, and the search function works fine in general. If I type NSYNC without the * , these search results appear: https://i.ibb.co/sbQ1NqX/001.jpg When I type *NSYNC , these results appear: https://i.ibb.co/y5G95x3/002.jpg However, if ...

Can't find *NSYNC in search
Hi, I have a strange problem. When I type *nsync in the MM search bar, it doesn't find the band. Even when I type sync bye , it finds nothing. However, the band does exist in the database, as do the songs. For example, if I type bye , *NSYNC with Bye Bye Bye is listed. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: How to delete dead artwork links?
You can only do so manually (removing files from Library and rescanning would also work, but you loose them from any Playlists they're on as well as their Play History). Found out another way. Edited database directly with Beaver SQL editor. Deleted cover path and modified a few other values. But ...

How to delete dead artwork links?
Hi, I‘ve external and embedded artwork. The artwork formerly were named <album>.jpg . But now I‘ve renamed to cover.jpg . That results in dead links within Mediamonkey. I tried rebuilding database, but they are still there. I could delete it for every single file, but I don’t wan’t for a few thousan ...
