Re: Installing Mediamonkey on Linux
If you are looking for some assistance with MMS for Linux. I just retired, read lots of time little money, from being an old school programmer. (Pascal, COBOL, Fortran, C, Basic......) Would love to get this working on a Raspberry PI. Not sure what this is programmed in but willing to donate my time ...

Re: Unable to grant file permissions
Not sure if this is the issue I am having. I can set 'most' of the folder with no problem. Just a couple of the movie / video folders MMA / Android crap out on when I try to assign them. Not a huge issue, things are working and I can play tunes.

Damn Awesome!
Been waiting for something like this for a long time. I will be working on getting the code to work on a SBC like the Raspberry Pi 3/4. As a server I play songs seldom, but do keep everything organized for 8 Android devices. Can not wait to get going on this.

Syncing two MM5 servers.
Is it possible to sync two MM5 servers? One is going to be the main desktop copy, the other will be the backup copy and sync to Android devices (this one will run 24/7). I need the media and the playlists synced in particular.
Is there a way to do this?

Cleaning up my database
Not sure if there is a function or addon that will allow me to flag any MM entries that do not have a corresponding file. I cleaned up a ton of files on my HDD with various utilities. Now that I am done, I have noticed a lot of orphaned entries is MM. Is there a way I can flag/delete these orphans?

Can I select a parent directory and get all the files inside it, AND files inside the child directory? Doing this in the MM5 main program. Cleaning up IDTag's, file name formatting etc.

Re: Deleted Files Still Showing Up
I am having the same issues. In my case the entire sub-tree structure has been removed. When I go through the Locates -> Files 2 edit. And select 'disconnected links'. I then delete those items, and they are gone. But when I look at 'Albums' all the albums and tracks are still there, just not ...

Re: Unable to locate MMW5 with MMA
OK Very odd, followed the steps and MMA did start to sync for a bit. Then MMW blew up with the following error: Runtime Error: Program: D:|Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey 5\MediaMonkeyEngine.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the ...

Unable to locate MMW5 with MMA
I am trying to get my MMA pro to sync files over WiFi to my MMW5 pro. I go into MMA and try to configure it to link to MMW but MMW does not show up, and when I enter the IP:Port does not link. I have done port scans on the MMW computer the the port that sync says it is using (22162) is open. So I ...

Re: mediamonkey.ini file creation error.
Yup still does it after restart, with virus scanner disabled. This comes up when I start MMW, and sometimes when I exit MMW. I am running the current version of MMW 4.1.29.1910. Sorry to take so long to get back to you, as you can imagine everything is a little nuts these days.

mediamonkey.ini file creation error.
I am getting an error: Cannot creat file: 'C:\users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\mediamonkey.ini'. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. As far as I can tell nothing else is using this file. Everything seems to be read/write (ie no RO filags). Any ...
