Sorry if this has been posted before but I searched the forums and don't have time to go through the 404 pages of posts on tagging topics and I wasn't sure which search parameters to enter for my question.
I have directories of songs with filenames in the format 01 - Get Over It, 02 - Tequila Sunrise, etc. I want to change the Title field of the ID tag to be just "Get Over It" and "Tequila Sunrise" (without the quotes of course). In other words I want to remove the first 5 characters from the filename field in order to build the Title tag field. I've tried all sorts of modifiers in the Auto Tag from Filename form but as soon as I change the filename format field at the top of the form to anything but <Title> the yellow highlighting in the "changed to" rows goes away.
Thanks and I apologize again for asking a question which has probably been asked and answered a million times.

Edit song title tag with modified filename string

Re: Edit song title tag with modified filename string
OK, I got that figured out - it's actually one of the standard formats available in the drop down.
Now, the next question is, how do I get rid of leading 0's in the track numbers?
Thanks.

Got that one figured out too - under tools =>scripts=> auto increment track numbers - it also updates the tag data.
Thanks for everyone's help.
