How to access MMA test builds

Post by rusty »

If you'd like to test pre-release builds of MediaMonkey for Android (MMA), they're available via the Google Play store. These builds give you access to the latest and greatest features that we're working on, but may contain bugs. In general:
  • Alpha builds have undergone limited testing and contain numerous bugs, many of which we're not even aware of. They are only available to users who have specifically requested access.
  • Beta builds are closer to feature-complete and have undergone more thorough testing, so most, but not all bugs are known. They are available to anyone as described below.
To participate in Beta testing, install the regular version of MMA and then register for pre-release testing:
  1. Install the latest version of 'MediaMonkey' via
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... nkey&hl=en
  2. Register for pre-release testing:
    - In MMA, by tapping Options > About > Register for test builds
    OR
    - Via https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... ediamonkey
After a period of time, your MediaMonkey build will automatically be updated to the latest beta version (and will continue to be automatically updated with the latest beta builds unless you de-register from the beta program).

Test Notes:
  • If you have MediaMonkey Pro, please update it to the latest version or your Pro features may not activate.
  • Trial functionality expires after 15 days unless you update to MediaMonkey Pro. Installing a new Beta build resets the timer.
Enjoy and please let us know what you think!
