[REQ] Right click display in Spotify [#17589]

I like looking for new music. When I hear a good song in MM, it would be great if I right-click to open Spotify. So far I have always had to copy the title and artist and paste them into Spotify. That would optimize my workflow.

Good point. We have an addon to open links in particular search engines (https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... how-links/), but currently it only supports Google, Wikipedia, and Youtube. Adding Spotify to the list would make plenty of sense.

I know the list with the many links. It would also make sense here to select what is needed in the settings. For me all I need is Spotify. It would be nice if you could set what the user was needed in the settings. Makes the popup clearer.

You're able to change it by going to Tools>Addons, searching for Show Links, and clicking the gear to open the configuration panel. The label "show links in file list" should be updated; what it really does is change the default action when you left click on the link.

I'm not using the Show Links 1.0.1 plugin.

With 9 x Amazon I mean this. I haven't found a way to shorten the list.

Your screenshot seems MM4, not MM5 with the showLinks addon.

Is it true it's from MMW 4. But for me it was mainly about the connection to Spotify to be able to find new music faster.

I installed the plugin in MMW5 portable. I can't see it anywhere. Right-clicking on a song opens a lot, but no link to Spotify. Or did I miss something?

However, I would like this to be included as standard in MMW5.
