When the duplicate functions are selected can there be a checkbox style select system to select the files you choose to delete or move?

Hold CTRL and each left click will select the files you want to delete/move.

That's the problem a mistype or a click without ctrl then boom all you've selected are no longer selected. Gotta start all over again.
But with checkboxes no need for a combination key mouse... Easier to just have checkboxes.
And it's not hard to implement.

Are deleting duplicate tracks or duplicate albums?

You probably already know this, but checkboxes are implemented at the album level.

• change your View to Grid By Album (using the dropdown menu control at the right end of the Toolbar)

• start multi-select by clicking top right corner of any album

All the work arounds don't simplify this part of arranging your music database. Checkboxes, just like the "tag from files name" option for example. You can select or deselect the tags you want or don't want altered. More efficient of a workflow.
