Library track list sorting [#18519]

Hello, I'm using version 5.0.1.2433. I have figured out how to select how I want my music library track list to be displayed by right clicking the headers of the "All tracks" list and selecting headers and sort order. That seems to be saved if I close and reopen MM.

However, for other track lists, such as the "all tracks" list of a particular genre (for which I have selected "list" as opposed to "simplified list"), if I set it up the way I want it, then select a new genre, the track list is re-sorted by Album every time. If I close and reopen MM, the genre list appears sorted by the following (which is different from my desired order):
1. Date A-Z
2. Album A-Z
3. Track # A-Z
4. Title A-Z

I don't think I had this issue with MM4. Everything seemed to save and reopen exactly the same as whatever multiple views I had open upon closing. Any thoughts? Thank you.

This has been reworked for 5.0.2.

It does not remember custom sorting: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18519

But defaults to Date > Album > Track# > Title.
