Post by vpfavale »

when viewing my library by 'artist' i would like the view to have a primary sort of 'albums' by that artist and a secondary sort by 'track #'. is this possible?

Sort

As I know for now it can be easly done with Advanced search optins, but there is an alternative solution.

Solution: When you select artist you wanna sort that way do this:

From left to right, an album Column; Track #;..... Than select sort by album.

Note: To move column drag wanted column to the desired place.

I hope it worked with you :) :) :)

To add to this: in any node, you can create a primary sort by clicking a column heading and a secondary sort by clicking <control> and a second column heading.

This might help you out but it probably won't solve your issue entirely since the sort settings do not propagate to subnodes and are reset whenever switching between nodes.
