Recently Added Tracks - no longer works

Post by sgian »

My MM stopped creating automatically the playlists with the recently added tracks. I've checked my options but did not find anything related to that functionality. Thanks for any help.

Tools > Options
Library > Tags & Playlists
check the box at the bottom, titled Create playlists of Tracks newly added to the library

That doesn't work for me or I don't see it.

Were does the list appear? Together with the other playlists?

Under Playlists > Recently Added Playlists.

There should be a number of playlists titled with dates and times. Both "Added" and "Auto added" as well.

Got it! It works; I overlooked some things there.

But is this list configurable?

I'de like to have a list of the last 300 tracks added for example which are not cut up in dates as I have now.

This playlist could look something like this:
<added>\<artist>\<album |max tracks:<number of tracks>

I also can't get this done by magic nodes since the <date added> is not in there...

You could do this with Autoplaylists. (Registered version only)

I've done something similar, using date added as a criteria. I have one for tracks added last month, and tracks added this month.
