Iphone last.fm options

Hey guys.

Now I'm migrating back to MediaMonkey for my Iphone 3g since it now supports it I've got one problem I can't seem to get around, on my old Ipod I could use lastpod or similar program to sync my ipod plays back to last.fm but since the Iphone doesn't mount as a physical drive in the same way I can't direct such a program to the database file to submit my plays, I know of an app I can use that scrobbles plays in the background if I jailbreak but I don't particularly want to risk breaking such an expensive piece of kit on such a move, so do I have any options on the computer end I've not aware of that will let me scrobble my iphone plays?

I don't think anything besides iTunes + last.fm can scrobble those plays. FYI, I have the scrobble application on my jailbroken iPhone and it works great.
