Maintain Library > Create Multi-Artist Albums

I can't seem to find any documentation in the MM built-in help, the online help, the KB, or this forum regarding the "Maintain Library" menu option. I'm a librarian by trade, so naturally I want to "maintain my library" and keep the database and all my track metadata in the best possible shape. However, I've learned from experience not to execute an irreversable global process that could foul up some part of a 22K track collection without first understanding exactly what it does.

Can anyone direct me to the documentation on what each of these "maintain library" options does? I can guess about most of them, but "Create Multi-Artist Albums" could mean many different things!

I wouldn't use it and use Library > Files to Edit > Multiple Artist Albums instead: http://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/webhelp/f ... erties.htm

Multiple Artist Albums are albums like compilations that feature tracks from different artists.
