Is there a link to that script? I may just be missing it but I don't see it.

Re: Duplicate Report 3.0 [MM2+3]
This script has worked wonders in finding my 'fuzzy match' duplicates (about 8000 in all). Kind of a pain to have to then 'deal' with them all one on one, as I rather do this manually that have the script delete the wrong one for me. So thanks for creating the script and thanks to those who helped me 'discover' this script existed.
So now I have two MORE problems in my current 80000 file database.
First - I imported some m3u files and it created a LOT of 'duplicates'. The database has multiple listings to the EXACT same file location. most commonly only 2 listings for the song. I want to remove at least one of every EXACT duplicate in the database.
Is the Duplicate Report the best way to delete these duplicate listings?
Second - I have run the report several times and I now have about 6000 songs that it reports as DUPLICATES but are NOT duplicates. Is there a way I can 'flag' these files so the report no longer considers them on future attempts to run the Duplicate Reports?
Note: Is there a 'POST' that helps describe how some of the Duplicate Reports features work? I am a little confused on Tolerance/Majority/Distance and most of the checkboxes' functionality.
Thanks for your time and patience

Re: Duplicate Report 3.0 [MM2+3]
I think I found a solution poking around (in case anyone else needs to find a solution)
The Advance Duplicate Find and Fix script has a 'folder' with a suboption Traces with Same Content
If you 'search' for duplicates with every field checked as required to be the same then the script as a folder
Create Keep/Delete Suggestion Nodes, under that there is a node 'Delete Suggestions. This node lists ONE
of the Duplicates that meet your 'matches'. So as long as you have your 'exact matches' checkboxes criteria set correctly this 'Delete Suggestions' node should list your 'exact matches' duplicates (as I described in my problem in my previous post). I hope this helps some other 'newbies' in the future.

Req: Duplicate Report usage help needed
I would like to determine if Duplicate Report has an option to 'exlude' the artist field and 'fuzzy match' ONLY the title field?
Example I have
Kansas - Dust In The Wind vs. Kansas Dust in the Wide
or
Boston - More Than A Feeling vs. Boston vs. More Than A Feeling Intro
Or find 'similar titles like'
Rock N Roll vs Rock And Roll

Here are some examples. How do I get the Duplicate Report to list these variations in the report, so that I can at least correct them manually? These are only examples. I know there are others where the title differ due to one title using

Re: Duplicate Report 3.0 [MM2+3]
Just discovered this and added it to MM. One question- how do I get all of my duplicate content to appear in the main window? I have about 5000+ duplicate songs and would like to have all of them appear in the main window. As it is, when I expand the Duplicate Content tree, I can only select one instance at a time, which is obviously very time consuming. I tried Shift+ drag, Ctrl+A, and a few other key combos but don't seem to be able to highlight all the instances.
Advice would be welcomed!

Thanks for this scirpt! Looks awesome
But I can't get it to work to find and delete the duplicate tracks on my Ipod.
What i did:
1) I selected all the tracks (Sidebar-> Ipod -> artist -> all) so they appear in the main window
2) run the script (file > report > duplicate report)
3) Match mode : title and I checked "Use selected"
3) the scritp works fine (no errors) but tells me that it has found no duplicates.
What did I do wrong? Can somebody help me?
Thanks a lot!
