Kindle Fire HD Sync Failed

Hi:

This is my first time using MMA so please bare with my ignorance. I have set up my kindle fire hd to sync 248 tracks in one playlist. I am running into the following problems.

1. The sync list on the fire only show 251 tracks although there are 248 showing in the playlist in mmv.
2. The sync fails at the next to the last track no matter how many tracks it states it is syncing and because of this the playlist never syncs to the Fire.
3. When the sync fails it says a debug log has been updated, where is this log located on the fire so I can look at it to see if it gives me info on why the sync is failing?
4. The album art being syced is not what is included in the tracks.

Which builds of MMA and MMW are you using, and are you using USB or Wifi sync?

Which builds of MMA and MMW are you using, and are you using USB or Wifi sync?

I am using the latest version of MMA and MMW. I was trying the Wifi sync and this is where it is failing. Syncing via USB works as it should.

Just d/l new MMW today and loaded it on a pal's PC and side loaded a new MMA onto her kindle as I like it so much. Everything is great with the files already on it except for the sync failure - I get the 'upgrade to 4.1' message when I try to sync with her pc. Thought it might be because she hasn't got gold like me, but maybe not?

I have my samsung galaxy tab with me and tried to sync to her MMW and I got a 'sync failed/connection failed' message on my tab. Can devices sync with multiple MMWs? I'd assume so. I have Vista and my pal has XP, couldthat be it?

BTW - Pal has a volume control on her new Kindle fire so they seem to have addressed the problem someone else mentioned.
