This proves my point exactly. Yes, the functionality is there, but it is not intuitive.

Yes, that is the Now Playing list. It looks like your album track list b/c in the scenario you described, you queued one album to the Now Playing list. You should notice that it's slightly different than that album track list though in that you have handles along the left edge that you can grab to re-order the tracks.dtsig wrote:For 'Now Playing' playlist are we talking about ... To add more to that list, go back to the album browser, pick a different album, long press any track, use the check boxes to select a few tracks, and then tap the play icon with the clock on it. A message should flash indicating that you have added the tracks to the now playing list. Now go back to your player by tapping the album art or track name in the miniplayer at the bottom of the screen, tap that icon on the bottom left again, and you should see both the tracks from the first album you picked as well as the second group of tracks that you added.

Well I'll be a *&%$^&&*
Although I still can't find a way to D&D the rest is cool .. but there really should be a more intuitive way to figure it out.
Thanks BigInJapan ..

Re: REQ: Now Playing
Does D&D mean Drag and Drop? If so, where are you wanting to drag from and drop to?
Within the Now Playing list, you can drag and drop to reorder the list using the handles on the left edge, but you can only move one item at a time. You can't grab a chunk of tracks and drag them all at once.
If you want to drag and drop from, say, an artist track list to the now playing list, that is definitely not available. You have to use long tap and then the check boxes. It'd be a neat interface trick to be able to drag from a track list to the now playing list, but I'm having trouble visualizing how that would work.

I don't know ... i thought i read in an earlier post in this thread about D&D to a play list. Selecting works for me.
NOTE: i just reread the first post and i just misunderstood what it was saying.

I don't know what you mean by D&D in this context. In that Now Playing list, you can drag tracks to reorder them. (No flick to remove, but maybe someday...)dtsig wrote:Also I have found no way to D&D anything. I can 'select' a track and then select the 'playlist' icon but I don't see any 'Now Playing' .. Oh my ... why am i so lost <sigh>
You can't drag anything into Now Playing. You select a container or individual tracks: hold down the entry until the checkbox appears, then set your selection from the visible items, and press the Play or Play Shuffle or Play Last buttons.
