Hi all.
I recently ripped a CD and although I CAN see it on my NAS (which is where MM rips all my music to), I can't see it from ANY of my media players (PS3, Pioneer N-50, Denon AVX-3000) nor does it list in MM's artist, album or any other folder configuration within MM. Strangely enough, if I navigate to the folder and the songs within it and double-click on any song, MM actually DOES play it.
I have deleted the folder from my NAS and re-ripped the CD with the same problem.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue?

Don't know if it's the same issue, but I've had exactly the same symptoms on occasion when I rip the file to a specified hard drive path (e.g. C:\users\karl\etc) rather than the recommended UNC path- e.g. \\mediaserver\music\etc. In that case when I try to play the files in MM from a network location, it can't find the files, even though they're right where it says they are.
Re: newly ripped cd doesn't show up on media player
Just to be clear, I have NOT changed the path for the ripping of the CD's - those I ripped 3 days ago all worked fine....
Re: newly ripped cd doesn't show up on media player
Is the problem with the Media Server on the NAS or with the one from MediaMonkey? For the latter the files do need to be in the MediaMonkey to be seen by any client. For the former you may need to check scan settings on the NAS's Media Server.

Well, I suppose we can close this "ticket" now... accessing the "my files" section of my NAS and performing a "refresh" task seems to have resolved this issue as I do now see the folder on all equipment... thanks to all for the suggestions and help.
