Question about DLNA auto conversion

OK, I got my Integra receiver accessing the MM DLNA server. I published my playlists in the DLNA server setup and I turned off all the "canned" auto conversion rules that were there and added the following rules to auto convert FLAC, APE, WMA(lossless), and OGG files all to WAV.

Does this mean my receiver will be "seeing" everything as totally lossless WAV files? Which is what want. It sounds pretty good but just want to make sure none of the content leaving the DLNA server is being "reduced" to compressed formats like MP3, etc. Is this how this works to ensure my receiver is always seeing lossless WAV files?

Also a follow up question. If MM sees that it has already transcoded a file in the DLNA cache to WAV in the past and that file is sitting there. Does it spend the time to do that all over again or does it just use that file. I'm experiencing a time lag between each song, I assume its spending that time converting the next song to WAV?

A follow up to my follow up... If this is the case that the DLNA server converts to files as the client asks for them, then there will always be a lag between songs right? Why not have an option where the server will automatically start transcoding the "next song" in the playlist automatically while the current song is playing?

The files will be sent as WAV, however this only makes sense for lossless files (like FLAC and WMA Lossless). Going from a lossy to a lossless format won't add quality (it generally does result in larger file size).

Thanks, I realized my Integra can play FLAC and WMA lossless already so these have no need for conversion. But the APE files do. I have a different issue with the Integra though and that is the cheap DAC in it wont go over 600kbps so it skips a lot of songs anyway. But looking at getting an audiophile DLNA client some day. DLNA is pretty cool. But still like MonkeyMote the best and just hook the windows USB to my good DAC then into the Integra, I can play my LP's which were sampled over 5000kbps that way, and hang MonkeyMote on the wall in an old iPad. This seems to be best setup for me.
