New external HDD
I filled up my 250gb external HDD with music, so I had to buy a bigger one. The HDD was being monitored by MM, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to make the switch to the new HDD. I've already copied all the music to the new HDD. Should I delete the whole library, hook up the new HDD, and then scan it with MM? Is that the best way to do it?

Re: New external HDD
Best way is to
1) Disable Folder Monitoring
2) Use MediaMonkey to move files (Auto-Organize Files is easiest)
As you already moved the files
1) Disable Folder Monitoring
2) Select all moved files in MediaMonkey
3) File > Locate Moved/Missing Files

Re: New external HDD
Thank you. Why did my op post twice? I moved the songs from the old HDD to the new one, by copying and pasting them through Windows. Does that matter as far as the suggestions you made?
Re: New external HDD
It doesn't change and the second suggestion should work.
