Stuck on "Preparing confirmation dialog..." window

I have this problem for a while, on different devices (NVidia Shield Tablet running lollipop, Sony XPeria Z Ultra under CM11), across different versions of MMW/MMA. If in options Ichoose "Sync to this location" only, it syncs OK. If I choose to delete unselected copies/content (last two ticks in the storage sync config), it will stay in "Preparing confirmation dialog..." for hours (the longest I checked was overnight). I sent the log, Log ID is "HYELHCKGFG". My music library is at around 4600 songs. The problem happens every time I do the sync with the delete options checked, please let me know if you want me to try something or help to debug the problem any other way.

Answering my own report. After shutting down my PC MMA immediately "unfroze" and offered me to delete all music files from the library. I realized that MMW was seeing my Nvidia Shied Tablet as a new device since I just updated it to lollipop OS - found two devices named "Nvidia Shield Tablet" under "Portable Device Sync", one of them not configured (would be nice if by default MMW would copy the profile from the configured device to uncofigured device with the same name, otherwise after every OS update we have to reconfig everything). After configuration I was able to sync with the settings that wouldn't work before, though 880songs (~20%) was deleted and re-uploaded to my device. I definitely didn't change that many since my last syncseveral days ago...

Hi RVA,

Thanks for the reports. We haven't observed the duplicate sync profiles on OS upgrade, but that may be a function of the fact that it's rare. Can you please send me (either via Private Message or by opening a ticket) the two duplicate profiles? You can do so via MediaMonkey for Windows > Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync > DEVICENAME > Options > Export Device Options

That might help us understand why MMW is creating the dups.

p.s. in an earlier (since deleted) post, Peke had written that a related feature is on our to do list at http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=12439 . In actual fact, we're probably not going to build that feature--I'd much rather get to the root of this problem and solve it.
