SD Card

Post by Tigressdance »

I know that Android Kitkat would not allow access to external storage, but from my research that was fixed in Lollipop. However, when I try to follow the instructions on allowing MM access to my SD card nothing happens. I select the SD file I want access to, and then hit select, and the app just brings me back to the screen where it tell me I must grant access. I feel like there must be something I'm doing wrong, but just can't figure out what. I REALLY hope I AM doing something wrong, and it's not my Android system trying to block me from using my SD memory as I certainly don't have enough space on my main device. Help? Thank you so much!

I do have the vaguely same problem as Tigressdance, however I do not think my problem warrant a new post. I have downloaded the app but I am unable to follow the very user-friendly guide. I do not get the options menu once I click the first "continue" button I am "transferred" to my local language version and have no 3-bars available.
My device is Huawai L8 Lite, andriod version is 5.0.1 and my mma version is 4.10.1778.
