False messages when using Android device app?

Post by Juliansdad »

After installing the MediaMonkey app for my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, I connected via USB (NOT wifi) to learn how to transfer music from MediaMonkey my PC to the phone.
I copied and pasted some tracks. When I played the first track on my phone, a window popped up that told me that UPnP/DLNA can be used on a trial basis and that I should consider buying it. Huh? I didn't think I needed the UPnp?DLNA app to play my songs synced via a USB cable from my PC to my phone.

Should I simply ignore this?

Did you try to access files through UPnP in MMA? If not this shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your response. Nope, I wasn't interested in accessing any content via UPnP/DLNA.
That's why I became confused when that message popped up.
