Most of the time I use MMA on my phone in the car to just play all tracks on random via that very handy random play button. But recently after changing some music outside of the sync feature (which is giving me trouble but that is another issue) my player is behaving differently. Not sure if it was related to the music I added or maybe something I activated by accident. I have a hard time imagining this as a feature someone would want but what do I know?
The issue is I'll start random play and it will just repeat the first track until I hit the track next button on my BT control. Then it will play another song but repeat that one until I hit next and so on. It's annoying, especially while driving.
Did I do this to myself somehow? How can I undo it? I don't see a setting that sounds like it would do this. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps you enabled Single Repeat. If so disable it by tapping the Artwork on the Now Playing screen to reveal Shuffle/Repeat buttons.
