Is there a screenshot somewhere of exactly what you see on Android Auto? I'm curious, but I don't yet have a car where I can check it out myself.

I just bought a new car with Android Auto, and I have observations.

I would rather see more of my album art, and less chrome. The player controls have way too much white space around them - the bar could be significantly shorter without affecting functionality. Honestly, I'd rather have a layout more like the landscape view of MMA, with art on one side and controls on the other.

I would also prefer the rating to be always visible, and selectable with a single click, the way it is on MMA. Having shuffle and repeat in the menu is fine, I don't toggle those very often, but I change ratings and rate new tracks constantly, and having to select the menu every time is annoying. Plus, no access to half-star ratings, which I use often.

My playlists do not sort in the same order they do on MMW or MMA. I have prefaced some playlists with a "." so they sort first, but those playlists are not at the top of the list in AA. In fact, my most used one is not in the list on AA at all, because it's too far down, evidently.

A couple of thing wrong with my Android Auto:

1) Sometimes the ratings does not work
2) When doing voice "play this band or song", it plays something completely wrong
3) It freezes up a lot
