v.2606 Won't open

2606 installs but freezes on the MM logo. Has to be shut down with task manager

Have you tried reinstalling after a PC reboot? If it still fails, please capture this failure to start in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this fails in your setup.

Just FYI: It is instance of https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18609
where Chromium has trouble to run with HW acceleration enabled in your environment for some reason.

So using the MediaMonkey_NoGPU.bat is the workaround for now.


EDIT: May I additionaly ask you which graphic card do you use and whether your card drivers are up to date?

you are able to enable HW acceleration on your system and run MM5 wiuthout the NoGPU.bat then?
