When I right-click a track in the main window, I get all of the following play xxx options.
Some are easily understood, and as discussed elsewhere some don't work in shuffle mode
Can somebody explain the rest of them??
Play now - obvious - works as expected
Play next - obvious - does not work in shuffle mode, would be nice if it did!!!
Play last - obvious - does not work in shuffle mode
Play Shuffled - Play now ???
Play next ???
Play mixed ???
Play last ???
Play Shuffled (by album) - Play now ???
Play next ???
Play last ???

Re: Explain all the different Play xxx options
Thanks. Answers pretty much all of my questions.
If I was to save a "randomized" now playing list, as a new playlist, can I save it somehow along with where it was at when last played??? Due to being randomized, it is hard to find where I was.
Purpose for this lets say I am playing through a rather long playlist, but I need to play something else for a while. Then I want to return to that list, and start over from where I was at last time.
If not does that sound like a useful thing to have??

Re: Explain all the different Play xxx options
No, playback position is not saved per Playlist. However you may be able to use the Last Played column (which only helps if you didn't play any files on the Playlist outside of the Playlist).

Playlist to recall last played track
Would it be possible to have a feature toggle which would allow a playlist to recall the last track played on it?
My android player "Musicolet" has both playlists and queues, and the queues do recall last played track.
So maybe this feature would not apply to existing playlists, but would be enabled by saving a named "Queue" from the "Now playing"
This would allow me to work on another set of tracks, and then come back to a "Randomized" saved queue (which may contain the same tracks as a playlist) and re-start where I left off.

Re: [REQ] Playlist to recall last played track
Looks like a major shift in Now Playing design is being contemplated, and the above might be addressed in the process
see https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18988
This proposed change sounds very positive to me, and should resolve numerous complaints and confusion I have seen here.
So, very happy to see it, and looking forward....
Thanks, Guys
ps I do hope as part of this we will have a way to save a playlist, or a copy thereof, in the same randomized order it is currently playing.
This in turn would facilitate ways to save and recall where I was at the last time I played that particular playlist.
