Sometimes, I select a file, and I want to open up that file's directory. Could we add a feature where right-clicking on a file offers the option to open that file's directory in Windows Explorer?
And similarly, many files have multiple graphics and artwork associated with them. Could we add a button in the Artwork interface that enables the user to view that directory, and thus view the artwork?

Re: Open Directory in Explorer
I like that - it would be a FANTASTIC feature!!!
At present, I need to F2 and copy the path to the clipboard, paste it into explorer, and backspace(delete) the filename, then enter.
If I paste the path and filename, it opens another instance of MM.

Got me thinking, so while waiting for this feature to be implemented, I found an even easier shortcut.
Copy the full path, open windows start, and paste (Ctrl-V), it will almost instantly display the track title and artwork, right-click the art, and select "open containing folder".
It will then open the folder, with the track filename highlighted!

Hi Rob,
did you understand Erwin's post?
- in MM5, right click a track
- take option FindMoreFromSame>Folder(Explorer)
- ==> Windows File Explorer is opened at the folder which contains the selected track
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
Re: Open Directory in Explorer
Hi, Barry
Yes, understood, and works for me as well. My way does highlight the specific file and is almost as easy.
Erwins post was entered during the time I was writing and posting mine, and I should have reviewed and acknowledged his before posting.
Best of both would be great!!!

Re: Open Directory in Explorer
Whow, was always looking for this functionality.
It was a pain for me in the past to open the corresponding explorer folder via MediaMonkey.
Question: is it possible to have a hotkey for this?
... would be so great!!!!!
Thanks for your input in advance!

Re: Open Directory in Explorer
That's already available as the Edit: Find more from same Folder (Explorer) Hotkey. You may have to add it via the Edit hotkey section.
