Sync progress and dialogue boxes do not show accurately

Bad title. Hopefully I can explain it better.

MediaMonkey 5.0.4.2693 gold (also observed in standard)

I've been using MediaMonkey to sync to an SD card that goes into a separate MP3 player.

Right now as of this post, a sync is happening. But the bottom bar where I'm supposed to see the tracks being synced and the numbers first showed it...and then it disappeared. It disappeared as I was searching for albums in my library. And when I go to the device summary page, the check marks I made are gone.

Notice the orange rectangle has no text other than the last track played.

However, when I open the SD card in Explorer, new folders are being created and music is showing up, which means the sync is happening as expected. I created an auto-conversion profile for this card, and I can confirm that files are being converted as well when needed.

Is there a way to be able to see the progress of the sync again?

I will need to get back to you on that, as the auto-conversion is still running at the moment (3500 albums, mix of lossless and lossy, and lossless tracks are getting converted to 320kbps for syncing).

In the meantime, do you have any special instructions for updating MM5? I have a portable installation at the moment, located in the same folder as my music.
