MM5.1 Case Checker
This Case Checker is built-in to MM5? I tried it and capitalized Tags [Titles and Album Name], but did not offer to capitalize file names? [Titles]

Re: MM5.1 Case Checker
Correct, it works on tags. Auto-Organize (Files) can change the folder/filenames.

Re: MM5.1 Case Checker
Yes, just like the other tag operations, if you want filenames altered too. Unless you use Auto-Organize which does it for you in the background.

Re: MM5.1 Case Checker
I used the Case Checker which modified the tags. Next, I added the results to my music. It seemed as in the process of doing this it capitalized file names according to the tags. IOW, it did not preserve the original file names. Which is fine by me. [MP3s, but it probably does not matter which file type you are using]
Re: MM5.1 Case Checker
Sounds like you have the aforementioned Auto-Organize enabled.

I found Auto-Organize in Options. I did not find it under Tools>Auto-Organize. Is this to be expected?Lowlander wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 7:16 pm Sounds like you have the aforementioned Auto-Organize enabled.
Re: MM5.1 Case Checker
Yes, as the link explained, there are 2 Auto-Organize features. One manual, Auto-Organize Files in Tools and one auto, in Options.
Note that in MMW5.1 Auto-Organize Files is called Organize files.
