[REQ] Copy Artwork Easily From One Track to Another Without Affecting Original Song

Post by Neighbor »

If I add a new song, I'll select the new track and a pre-existing track, go to the Artwork tab and click "Apply to all files in the Album/Series." Very easy and very simple. However, it then also updates the pre-existing track as being recently modified. I have to periodically manually "sync" my MM library with another MM on another computer/tablet device, so I rely on sorting by Timestamp to know which ones have been modified since I last transferred files over. Could there by a way I just click on the artwork from the pre-existing song, hit copy, then click on the new track and just paste it in?

I suppose for now you could go to properties, artwork on the source file, and right-click save as xxx.jpg

The go to properties, artwork on the destination file, browse and select your saved image, and apply.

Thus no change to source file.

All they would need to add would be a "copy image" option to the right-click menu of a track to make it a lot easier.
