Application not visible

When I run Mediamonkey 2024 it appears in task manager but not visible on the screen! Have to end task all mediamonkey applications that are in the list then re-run the application. Happens regularly after fresh boot.

Could it be minimized to the Windows tray (next to clock)? If so, right click on the MediaMonkey tray icon to Restore.

Similar problem. installed MM5/2024 on a new PC with windows 11. When launched, the MM splash screen appears briefly, then nothing. Does not appear in task bar. I uninstalled MM5/2024, installed an older version, and it works fine. Any ideas?

Which version did you actually install? MediaMonkey 5 and MediaMonkey 2024 are not the same. The current release is MediaMonkey 2024.1. Does it fail to launch as well?

Not on system tray.
Shows up under Background Processes. When I end task and run MM again it shows under Apps.

Did you install the MediaMonkey Service? Does MediaMonkey still fail to show when shown in Apps?

Don't know whether service was installed. Doesn't show up in Services control panel even though Mediamonkey is running OK today. Does show when it is under apps. It's intermittant. Sometimes everything is fine. Other times I need to go into task manager and end task. When I run it again it is fine.

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling MediaMonkey? Does that resolve the issue?

I've narrowed this down to only happening when Windows is logging in. If I wait two minutes or so after logging in, the problem doesn't occur.

Please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.
