Rename Album tag for folder contents

Message par newbie »

Hi guys,

Is it possible to rename all the album tags for tracts in a folder. Say i have a folder with 14 songs from the one album and i want to rename them all - but dont want to have to go through the properties on all of them and physically rename them.

This is a proof of concept - i'd like to also rename the year, genre etc using the same method - but if i could start with (or just get) the album tag sorted - i would be over the moon.

Thanks for all your help!!!!

If the path and filename contains the information you want you can tag the files based on this information.

If not...you can still mass edit the tags. ie highlight all the tracks on an album and change the album name, year & genre etc.

Hint To mass Tagging: Get One track with all that you need and tag it right. Right Click->Find more->Album and then D&D all others.

Hint 2: If one track in album have info that other do not have you will need just to check and MM will copy that info to others.
