Search by Pathname

I have MP3's on CD's and due to an over sight they do not have all the embedded information that they should (could?) I don't want to have to re-burn the disks I have and was wondering if I could search via the path. I tried to query via "any text field" but no luck. Any suggestions? Is this possible in the current version?

Currently it is not possible to search via the path. However, if you do not have information in tags, but in path/filenames, use can use "Song(s) properties using mask" function, which extracts information from paths and puts them to the database into an appropriate field.

Hi,

I have a question. Is there a way, to bring in (Input Mask) or also out the genre from the externel name. All the other think works fine (artist, album ..). When no way than this is a wish for future.

I isn't possible yet, but it seems to be reasonable request that can be added to the next version.
