Replacing artwork gets a bit tricky. Adding artwork I suppose could be an option. But generally speaking I think it's best that if you want to replace artwork then you remove what you don't want first, then run this script.

Thanks for the quick response. That is my problem, but I haven't the faintest idea why it's happening. It did previously work well though.

I've no idea either, but I'll take a look at the code and see if I can see anything that could be going wrong.

Thanks very much. It still kind of works, but the whole reloading thing is really irritating!

Also, without wanting to sound too grovelling, I really appreciate all the work you put into your scripts - I use quite a few and they're extremely useful. Mediamonkey wouldn't be the same without you!

If you go into the track properties for on of these tracks individually, are there any blank images attached?

Trixmoto - I can't thank you enough for this script! It's so easy to find album art that it's become a mania for me, I can't stand to have a single MP3 without its album art :P -

However, I've recently started having a problem. I use MM v. 2.5.5.996 under Vista and BatchArtFinder v. 2.2

Every time I use the script (either for a single track or a bunch of files) it retrieves the images, I select the ones I want to save and click "Save".
As soon as the first image has been added to the first MP3, I get the error (translated from Italian):

Error #438 - Microsoft VBScript run-time error
Property or method not supported by object: 'alb.Tracks'
File:"C:\PROGRA~1\MEDIAM~1\Scripts\Auto\BatchArtFinder.vbs" Line 1397, Column 6

And when I close the error message, I get "Error executing script event", and the script doesn't work any more, until I restart MM.

Here are my preferences:

I hope to have provided all the info needed to track down the bug (if any), or anyway to explain me why it happens :P -

Many thanks

I installed this on Vista. After selecting a cover art and pressing enter, I get the following error:

The MSInet component could not be found. Please install it before running this script. I found that Vista does not come with this component. I downloaded one for VB6 and installed it but I still get the same error. Which msinet version should I install and where do I get it?

Having installed it, did you register it? I've not tried any of my scripts of Vista, nor have I ever used Vista, so I don't know what to suggest other than googling.

Thank you anyway :)

But excuse my ignorance: what you mean "register the script"?

Yeah, I registered it and it coped the file over to the system32 folder. It looks OK but obviously something isn't correct. Your script mentions that it registers MSInet. Does your installation come with it or are you just registering incase it hasn't been?

The msinet.ocx component that I see in your directory after install is from 2000. The one that I stalled was 2004. I unregistered and reregisterd your version but I get the same error. Must be a Vista issue then

@Numenor - not register the script, register the MSInet component. I'm not sure how to do this in Vista but in XP you run "regsvr32" and pass in the filepath of the dll/ocx.

@Guest - I'm sorry that I can't suggest anything yet. I'm hoping to be able to test my scripts on Vista in a month or two, but until then I don't have any Vista experience at all.
