Hi,
Testing MMalpha 7 on Windows Vista.
I was ripping a cd which was autotagged from Amazon. One of the song names was a multiple title that looked like:
"Un Poco Loco \ Chant Song"
Note the "\" character.
When MM wrote the flac files it create a sub-dir named:
"Un Poco Loco"
with a file named "Chant Song.flac" as the song file.
I don't know if this is as designed behavior but it wasn't what I expected.
I changed the "\" to "/" which solves my current bug.
Thanks.

It's not a bug really, the "\" is used to indicate subfolders.
New script:
Last.FM Node Now with DJ Mode!
Last.fm + MediaMonkey = Scrobbler DJ!
Tag with MusicBrainz ~ Get Album Art!
Tweak the Monkey! ~ My Scripts Page

Okay, but neither character is a legal character for a file name. In the case of "/" MM correctly changes it to a "-", I would of thought the same rule would apply to ""? Why would I want to create a file directory when creating the name of a song from within MM?Teknojnky wrote:It's not a bug really, the "" is used to indicate subfolders.
