Again tonight.
I have turned off gapless to see if that helps...

Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
I would say with gapless turned off the problem goes away.
With it back on it may happen every few hundred tracks. Very random.

Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
fyi, we're working on a solution to the issues with Gapless playback re. Android 15. It's a fairly significant change, but we hope to have news soon.
Thanks!

Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
I think Bluetooth quality may be related to settings on the Android Phone. I recommend enabling Developer Mode on your device and playing with the HD Audio enable and the "Turn off A2DP hardware offload" button. Also, you may be able to change the Bluetooth Audio Codec between AAC, SBC, and Qualcomm aptX. That last option is only on high end devices. If HD audio is disabled, I believe the only Codec option will be SBC.
FYI, I have a Samsung S23+ running Android 15 and Bose QC II earbuds
Try these things and report back

Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
For my own case I found that the Codec makes a difference. My Bose QC II earbuds seem to default to HD Audio enabled and the AAC Codec. I think I eventually get the double track with the AAC codec and if I disable HD (fall back to SBC codec) it seems to be better. Another datapoint is my car bluetooth which does not support HD and consequently uses the SBC codec.
Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
I have been trying it just playing to the speakers in my pixel 8 pro and you still get the same issue.
A fix sometimes this year would be nice...

Not sure if the latest update for Android was supposed to help but alas it doesn't.

Re: Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice
Hi Automan,
Thanks for the new log. I checked it out and it was generated by MediaMonkey 2.0.5.1248 (the current release).
Can you update to the latest beta (2.1.0.1266) and let me know if it solves the problem? It includes numerous playback improvements (in fact it includes an entirely new audio engine). And please send a new log if it fails.
To test MediaMonkey beta builds:
- in MMA, tap Options > About | Register for test builds.
- OR register directly via Google Play at: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... ediamonkey
Once registered, your next update will be to the current MMA beta. To update immediately, go to MediaMonkey in the Play store and tap 'Update'.
Thanks for your help in debugging this!
