It would actually be nice to have an option somewhere that allows you to turn on/off the ability to delete tracks from the computer. The problem for me is the wife and children. They don't always read and/or understand things correctly. It has happened to me where they meant to only delete the track from the library but ended up removing it from the computer as well. Bye bye song. Now that I have my library setup it is very rare that I would want to delete a track. If I do want to delete it, I would just go into the options real quick and turn on the delete functionality or I would just remove it from the computer via Explorer and let MM discover that it's missing during the auto update of my library.

Personally, if I had to choose I'd rather not have MM delete files that
easily.
