Mediamonkey doesn't play songs, just skips through all songs

I've got a variation of this problem. I just installed MMW to a rebuilt Win7 box, scanned/built the library, and everything was good until I tried to add an mp3 album from one of my archive CDs. It imported, all the properties look right, but it won't play this album, just skips through the tracks. WMP plays the files just fine, so I don't think it's the codec problem as described above. Any other suggestions?
