1.
MM keeps a list of tracks that it has synced to the device in its database. It's possible that MM thought the files were still on the device and therefore didn't need to be copied. Enabling the Delete other files and playlists from the device option would force MM to check the actual files on the device.

2.
Do you have Copy Artwork to file tags enabled in the USB7 device options?

3.
The window shows all portable devices that have been connected at any time when MM has been running. Each device has its own sync profile so you can change conversion rules, options, or file selections when the device is not connected. You can remove any device profile by selecting it and pressing Delete. This will delete only the device entry in MM's database and won't affect the files on the device. The device will be added to MM again next time it is connected though.

4.
I use my Android phone and tablet for all of my portable media consumption, including in the car via Bluetooth. MediaMonkey for Android syncs with the desktop programme via WiFi so I don't need to connect it via USB.

1) The device may not have been rescanned and thus MMW was unaware that the files weren't there.

2) I'm not sure if this has to do with the filename for the Artwork (I use folder.jpg). Also it may be that you have the option to scan file directories for Artwork disabled. Lastly I don't even know if MediaMonkey picks up Artwork in this scenario.

3) All devices that have ever been connected will be shown here. Why the drive letter is missing I don't know, but you don't seem to have any problems connecting with the device thus it shouldn't be of concern.

Thanks both. I'm slowly getting there!

As per my edit, I succeeded in getting the art displayed after a rescan.

It's puzzling about the drive letter inconsistency, but as you say not a practical problem. In fact I don't know why drive letters should be shown at all, as they will obviously vary over time.

Hi,
You can lock drive letter to device by Right click on Computer Icon in start Menu -> Manage -> Disk management -> Right click on Device you want to lock drive letter -> Change drive letter -> OK

Personally I use small app called ZENTIMO where I have full control over connected devices.

Thanks Pavle, useful tip. I've also installed the trial of Zentimo.
