So you are saying that you have upgraded to the next iTunes version and that MM does crash, right ? I guess this should be taken as a warning for the whole communinty NOT to upgrade iTunes.
Well... Didnt work. MM still crashes with the iphone dll.
I uninstalled every apple program in add/remove, and did'nt even install itunes 8. Found a running service, and killed it. MM still crashes. Unless I delete d_iPhone.dll, and i dont wanna do that
so in the last version of media monkey (v3.0) it was required that u had the itunes v8.1 in order to have media monkey working with ipod
but after the jailbreak. the ipod required at least the version of itunes 8.2....
so i had to upgrade it.
thus disabling the interaction of ipod touch and media Monkey v3.0, where ipod touch wasnt recognized at all.
so i updated to MediaMonkey to v3.1.0....
ipod got recognized but you couldn't transfer anything to ipod touch.
so i added the file d_iPhone.dll to my plugins folder, which override the existing file..
before that, i made a backup of the original file. just in case something went wrong with the new one.
-mediaMonkey has to be closed in order to add new d_iPhone.dll file.
and now my ipod touch is working just fine..
i have itunes 8.2
jailbroken ipod touch 2gen with firmware 3.0
mediamonkey v3.1.0......
windows vista

I have updated to 3.1.2.1266 (Beta 1), applied the iPhone.dll from this topic but unfrotunately Mediamonkey still doesn't see my iPhone. It saw it before applying the iPhone.dll, but I got the error "iPhone not compatible...".

Note that 3.1 firmware isn't supported yet.

1.) iPhone 3Gs updated to ver. 3.1 + iTunes 9.0 - MediaMonkey beta 3.1.2.266 can be opened, sync does not work
2.) iPod Touch not updated to 3.1 (using ver.3.0) + iTunes 9.0 - MediaMonkey beta 3.1.2.266 - sync works!
- If you like MM do not update iPhone/iPod until new version.
Perhaps the developers from MM can contact this the programmer from iphone explorer, he has fixed the SSH over USB problem with Itunes 9.0 allready: http://www.iphone-explorer.com/
If somehow someone could tell me how to let MM could function, by using this file explorer, my problems would be solved.
Untill then I have to use MM alongside Itunes. (And I am not happy with that)

Hi there
Does MM support iphone firmware 3.0.1 (if not 3.1)? I have a new iPhone 3GS and am trying to use MM with d_iPhone.dll to transfer/sync to iphone. So far I cannot do this at all, although not sure if there will be a new dll for 3gs on the way.
Would be grateful if any MM support could say if this possible, or when expecting to be able to support this.

Yes, install the beta version which is available in the beta-testing forum. In the same section of the forum (but another thread) you can find a plugin that also works for firmware 3.1 (or at least is being tested for that purpose).
