Sorting - Unexpected behavior [#18890]

Post by MPG »

When I have a file listing sorted by:
1) Album
2) Title

And then decide that I want to change the sorting to:
1) Album
2) Track #

If I click on Album, I expect it to maintain the current sort on the Album and just remove the Title sort so that I can select Track #.
Instead it removes the Title sort and reverse sorts the Album column. This expected behavior can be replicated in MM4.
TIA

Confirm, and agree that this change is less good than MM4 behavior.

Request is being tracked here.
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
