What do we need to do to get you inspired!?!

There may be a work-around that will get some way for you in vanilla MM5.
The Preview panel (aka the Selected or Playing panel) can be configured to show Lyrics.
You need to set the panel to Advanced layout, and add the Lyrics tag to the display.
Currently you can't add the Comments tag, but my guess would be that this could be added if you asked nicely. It would be a small job. compared to the creation of whatever the previous Addon gave you.
The Preview panel has a toggle on its header, which causes it to show either the currently "Selected" track, or the "Playing" track.
The Preview panel can be configured to display either in the left or right of the MM5 Main Panel.

The big advantage to me is the information can be manually added to the id3v2 tags.

If you right click the file and select "Properties", the info in the "Comments" section would be displayed in a dockable panel.

Preview allows you to choose which fields are displayed as well it can be set to allow edits.

Unfortunately, selecting "Comments" here does not display the "Comments" in the file's Comment id3v2 tag.

Yes, as I said here, the Comments tag is not currently offered.
It has been requested. Is tracked here.

I am using the latest MMA Beta. I stumbled onto a "Find Lyrics" option. The album [for this example] is "This is why", Paramore, 2023.
Q1. When the lyrics are found for a track and you choose, "SAVE" does this affect only tracks/files in MMA?
Q2. Is it possible to apply the same lyrics to the tracks in MM5? Normally, I only think of synchronizing as going one way. i.e Going from MM5 to MMA?

1) Yes, it's only saved in the MMA database.
2) Sync is required to save tags to files and MMW.

Yes, I'm still around, but not highly active. I'm really not interested in porting Lyrics & Comments Viewer to MM5 at this moment. Also, I don't have much free time for this. And... with the little one I have, I'm trying some skinning, just for fun.
