Converting cd to mp3 or wav
I am trying to add background music to a photo slide show. I don't have an idea what to do. When I try and play the cd it I get the not the correct format. A friend told me to get a download from monkey/media inorder to convert to a usable format. What the heck do I do?????????

If you need wav, mp3, ogg, or wma files for your slide presentation, MediaMonkey can do it easily. It's as simple as this:
1) Pop the audio cd in your drive
2) Select Tools / Rip Audio CD from the menu
3) Choose your destination folder
4) Choose your file format from the pulldown at the top right. (mp3, wav, wma, or ogg)
5) You may need to click on settings to specify the quality of files.
6) Start ripping!
For a very good explanation of the audio quality options in MM, go to Help on the MM menu and choose Content. Then click in the Index tab and scroll down to Digital Audio Compression Formats. It provides info on each of the supported formats, along with a few pros and cons of each.
Hope this info helps!
