So, I've decided to go from iTunes to MM, and it's going OK so far. Album art is a little wonky, and I'm going to have to go find it for a bunch of albums, and some of the organization leaves something to be desired in the import of the iTunes library. For instance, one classical album I have is categorized in three different artists. Ick.
I used MM to try to synch to a flash drive. My library is about 150 GB, so I got a 3.2 USB drive that is 512 GB in size. It seems synching is DREADFULLY slow. Has anyone else had that problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? I formatted the drive as NTFS so it would work in my car. Any tips for speeding it up?

Did you enable Auto-Conversion, it would slow down Sync.

Auto Conversion is not enabled. Takes SO long to put songs on this drive. Probably will take 3 hours at this point, maybe
more.
more.
Re: Migration struggles
It's taken 90 minutes so far and less than 1000 songs have been moved to the flash drive
