Ripped CD without song numbers - can I fix or re-rip?

Post by zitsky »

I ripped some CDs without numbers on filenames. My older files are 01-SongA but I ripped a few albums as SongA, SongB, etc. Is there an easy way to update the filenames to include track numbers, or would it be faster just to re-rip them?

If you have Track# you can use Organize Files to fix.

If you are a new user then the info at Organise Files can be a bit daunting, but it is worth putting some time into it because it can become an essential tool for keeping a large music library coherent and accessible.
