I have found on my Android phone, Media Monkey is conflicting with another app, such that when that app has focus, Media Monkey's sound playback has a lot of static in it. I would normally blame that other app(it's the game "Shop Titans"), but Media Monkey is the only application whose audio seems to be affected. My Podcast app plays fine in the background. Youtube's app plays fine in the background. It's just MM that I hear static in. Shop Titans's audio effects are muted, so it's not even playing audio back, but I guess the sound device is still in use. It's worth noting I only get this with Bluetooth connections. I haven't tried analog speakers with a USB-C -> analog adapter, but I doubt the problem would be there. Playing back through the built-in phone speaker is static free.
It's easy to reproduce:
1) On an android phone, install both Media Monkey and Shop Titans.
2) Connect bluetooth speakers/headphones.
3) Start playing something in Media Monkey.
4) Switch to Shop Titans; media monkey's sound will be staticy.
5) Swipe up to go back to home screen, static instantly disappears, switch-back to Shop Titans, sound instantly is staticy.
Phone: Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
Android 15
Audio type: bluetooth. Playback through the phone speaker seems unaffected. I've tried multiple bluetooth speakers (headphones, car audio, etc).
