Hello All,
I recently moved my Media Monkey from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 11 computer.
To my surprise , I would have gone from the Mp3 song file in my downloads folder and clicked on "LIBRARIES" to open a sub drop-down menu with a folder labeled "MUSIC" to enable and open a Sub menu to "MY MUSIC " folder and then drop the extracted song into it .
However, that same sequence configuration looks somewhat different on my Windows 11 computer.
I see what looks to be a Music Folder but no drop down to "My Music"
At this point, I am thoroughly confused and lost as to how to get new "downloaded" songs submitted into my Media Monkey Library.
Has anyone been in this situation and can lend some guidance on what I can do to add more downloaded songs to the Library ?
Many Thanks,
CK

Re: Adding Songs from Downloads folder in Windows 11
They just dont use the "My Music" terminology anymore.
You can simply copy from downloads and paste into music folder, and then re-scan with Mediamonkey, and the songs should appear. Once you have them there, you might delete them from the downloads.
Once you have them in Music, you can use Mediamonky to auto-organize them into folders by album or whatever.
