I'd like to know if there is a way to add a virtual CD from freedb data without actually having the CD as a way to make a kind of 'wish list' for a CD.
Consider the following scenario: There's a new 'greatest hits' or compilation CD and you know you have 80% of the songs already. So it would be great if you could do the following:
1) Import the 'greatest hits' CD from freedb as a virtual CD with no tracks available.
2) Hunt though your database for the songs and associate the onces you have with the appriprate tracks
3) Go to an online store and purchase the remaining tracks.
Voila, an entire CD legally, and on the cheap.
Is there a way to do this?
A way to add a virtual CD without having the CD?

Adding CDs to MM without the actual CD
Malibu,
There's no way to do this right now with MM. I can see how it would be useful to track Songs that you would like to get/buy but don't yet have.
I'm going to move this to the wishlist forum for further discussion...

multiple album
How would the ability to list a song on multiple albums feature work instead of the virtual CD way?
