Music player programmers seem to think it's cool to have tiny dim blue
text on a not quite so dim blue background. How about a skin for those of
us that aren't 18 with perfect eyesight and a perfect monitor that daddy
got us for Christmas.
One word....CONTRAST!!!
How about a skin where the player can be sized to fill the screen at 1024x768.
With BIG BOLD BLACK text on a WHITE background so we can read
it from across the room if we want. And I do mean BIG text, like
half an inch tall.
This problem isn't unique to Mediamonkey, but at least Winamp lets
me double the size.
Nice library management functions...just can't read the text in the player
window without a magnifying glass.
How about a Screen I can read???

As for the contrast, you can try to use some other skin, there is thousands of them you can download and I believe that some of them would be good for you. However, problem with size of fonts remains...
As for the size, there is a plan to let the player to be resizable or at least to allow double the size as WinAmp does, it will come in some future version.
