Unique songs per artist

Hello,
I like to know what and how many songs I have per artist, without the duplicates. Is this possible now or could this be build in a future version?
I know it is possible to remove the duplicate titels, but that's not my intention.
In MS Access there's a function called 'group by" with wich it can be done, but is this possible in MM?

Some statistics about the songs in the DB has been requested before. Not as advanced as you are requesting, but we'll have to see what the programmers do in this area.

In the meantime, stuff like that is pretty easy to do directly in the Access database if you know Access (or other database query languages).

I know it can be done in Access, but as I'm not acquainted with relations in a database, in the query I can't get the relation between the songs and artists table working. I think I should take a course in Access first.
