DLNA on PS3...

My PS3 says that all my .mkv files it can't read. My Samsung TV with DLNA on it says the same thing. I don't understand. Mezzmo works just fine with reading it, but it's annoying to use. I really want to like MediaMonkey, but it won't work at all. Any help?
