SD Card Storage not coming up as storage option

Device info: LG P500h Android: 2.2.1
MM is not detecting my SD card as a storage option. Under "Sync Location/Settings" it only lists the internal storage for my phone. clicking it brings up the "Select sync server" options.

Can your device be updated to Android 2.3 and verify if that still occurs?

As Rusty pointed, have you tried to update software using http://koodomobile.com/en/on/upgrade_optimus-one.shtml , http://www.telusmobility.com/en/QC/LG-Optimus-One/ and http://www.lg.com/ca_en/support-mobile/lg-LGP500H I think 2.3.3 is available
